Minas Gerais, Brazil | Teófilo Otoni, Pavão Aquamarine

Brazil's Minas Gerais aquamarine deposits are found in the Águas Formosas, Crisólita and Pavão region of the Vale do Mucuri (Mucuri river valley), to the immediate west of the Marambaia valley, approximately 100 kilometers north-west of Teófilo Otoni. This region is in the north-eastern part of Minas Gerais, near the state of Bahia.
