Ibaraki, Japan | Lake Kasumigaura Pearl Farm

Japan's Lake Kasumigaura or Kasumiga-ura region is located around 90 km north of Tokyo, in Ibaraki Prefecture. The pearl farms are located on a narrow channel between Tamatsukuri and Shitozaki Fishing Harbour (Kasumigaura Town), in the Namegata District. The lake covers 182 square miles, and is the second largest lake in Japan, after Lake Biwako.
