Orpheo Sincronic Sociedad Anónima (Ossa) was founded by Manuel Giró in 1924, starting out as a manufacturer of movie projectors (Maquinaria Cinematográfica, S.A.). The company produced its first motorcycle in 1949, and soon developed a strong road racing, trials, and motocross presence. In 1979, Ossa merged with Bultaco, and was finally discontinued in 1982. |
