Orpheo Sincronic Sociedad Anónima (Ossa) was founded by Manuel Giró in 1924, starting out as a manufacturer of movie projectors (Maquinaria Cinematográfica, S.A.). The company produced its first motorcycle in 1949, and soon developed a strong road racing, trials, and motocross presence. In 1979, Ossa merged with Bultaco, and was finally discontinued in 1982.

All photos from the 2008 'Legend of the Motorcycle' Concours D'Elegance were taken using Nikon D2Xs and Nikon D200 camera bodies, with Nikon 105mm f/2.8 VR prime, and Nikon 18mm - 35mm f/3.5-4.5, or Nikon 300mm f/2.8 telephoto lenses.
