Radiance of the Seas is the flagship of Royal Caribbean's Radiance class of ships and the first to be built using podded gas steam turbine engines which significantly reduce noise, vibration and harmful emissions. At 90,090 tons and carrying 2959 people at capacity Radiance of the Seas is the largest passenger ship ever built in Germany, but there's more to her than sheer size: small design touches include gyroscope stabilized pool tables and even a baby grand piano in the Royale Suite. "Radiance" also carries a selection of paintings, sculpture, illustration and other work from over 100 artists, making Radiance of the Seas one of the most cultured cruise liners in service.
