5th Wheel RV Product Review

Alumilite King Pin Stabilizer Stand for 5th Wheel & Trailer

Alumilite King Pin Stabilizer Stand for 5th Wheel & Trailer

Product Overview

Secure the stability of your 5th wheel with this lightweight stabilizer.

The Problem

After you arrive at your campsite with your 5th wheel and set it up, you notice that it rocks back and forth and is not too stable in the front.

The Solution

Alumilite King Pin Stabilizer will solve this problem. It is constructed of aluminum and is lightweight and is built for easy handling. The Alumilite is 20 lbs. lighter than the leading stabilizers, yet just as effective in stabilizing your RV and allowing minimal internal movement.

The Alumilite King Pin Stabilizer stops front-to-back and side-to-side movement. It sets up in less than a minute after an initial one-time adjustment. Maximizing stability, the 5" x 5 1/2" footpads resist sink-in and tilting. Folds down to 53"L x 28" bottom circumference for simple, compact storage. Padlock and handle included.

Installation and Operation

The initial adjustment involves setting the length of the chain so that it can be set up easily after the initial time. After that the Alumilite King Pin Stabilizer is placed under the king pin and the head is rotated up until contacting the bottom of the king pin, then tightened until the 5th wheel is stabilized.

Caution: Always consult with a professional RV mechanic, your vehicle owner's manual, and/or your authorized RV dealer BEFORE installation, to make sure this type of King Pin Stabilizer is totally compatible with your RV. Improper or inappropriate installation could cause serious injury.
