Weather-Station Overview
Obviously this compact weather station can be used in many different situations, but for the RVer I would consider it a very useful RV accessory that is small, compact, easy to store and read or can be wall mounted in the RV for more permanent usage. It features radio controlled time and date which receives its signal from the U.S. Bureau of Standards Atomic Clock, which is the most accurate clock in the world.
Additionally, it contains a wireless weather station which reads indoor temperature, humidity, and remote (outdoor) temperature which receives a signal from a wireless remote sensor that can be permanently mounted on the outside of the RV in a secure place up to 80 feet away from the main clock unit. Also featured is a weather forecasting LED read-out which forecasts weather conditions (up to 75 percent accuracy) based on air pressure.

It is always important to know what's going on weather-wise when you're on the road or are planning a trip. There are many different possibilities out there to be able to determine and plan for the weather and it is always a good idea to cross-reference with everything available including TV, radio and portable weather stations.

The WS-7014CH Wireless Weather Station is the model that we have in our RV and is an RV accessory that I would recommend. There are much more expensive and sophisticated models available, however for the price this one is more than adequate. It is a stylish, compact unit that can be either be used on the desk or table or can be wall mounted.
The WS-7014CH Wireless Weather Station contains all of the features that most RVers want and need when on the road or when planning to be on the road. I love the accuracy of the atomic clock which is programmable to all time zones. Also featured in the WS-7014CH Wireless Weather Station is the date, the indoor and outdoor temperatures, the humidity as well as an LED animated screen showing the weather forecast and arrow indicated pressure directional movement.
Installation and Operation
No special tools are required and all that is necessary for normal operation is to install the 2 AA batteries and go through the initial set-up procedure as set forth in the directions. The built-in atomic clock will find the radio signal broadcast from the National Bureau of Standards and set it automatically to the time. The remote sensor is then placed in a secure location and held in place with Velcro, that's included. Once the remote sensor is secured, the outside temperature will be read on the unit which can be set up on a desk or table or can be mounted on the wall.
