George Foreman Grill | RV Kitchen Accessories

George Foreman Grill | RV Kitchen Accessories

Product Overview

We like to use the outdoor BBQ whenever possible, but sometimes due to weather or when just stopping overnight it is much more convenient, wuick and much less of a hassle to simply set up and quickly cook inside.

When cooking inside the RV or motorhome we love to use the George Foreman Grill. There are several different models, but any of them are simple and easy to use with minimal clean-up.

The Problem

It is not always possible to use the outdoor BBQ all the time. Sometimes either during cold or rainy weather or during travel days where you are on the road and only overnighting, barbecuing is impractical. The time that it takes to remove the BBQ from the packed underneath storage compartments and the time that it takes to set it up and cook a meal is sometimes more of a hassle than it's worth. This is especially true on trips when you are constantly on the move and only camping overnight in each location while going and from to a spot where you might be staying for several days or weeks or longer.

The Solution

One quick, easy, and convenient way to cook your steaks or hamburgers inside is with the George Foreman Grill. We love to use our outdoor BBQ whenever we can, but when on the move the George Foreman Grill is the perfect solution in the motorhome as a substitute for outdoor barbecuing. Steaks, chops and hamburgers are easy to prepare on the George Foreman Grill and the clean-up is easy as well by using the included drip tray and cleaning the teflon surfaces.

Additionally, we have found that using electric appliances in the RV is a much better way to go, than use of the propane stove top or stove. It is much a faster way to prepare meals.

Operation

The George Foreman Grill comes ready to go and all you do is plug it in. Of course you will have to be at a campsite with power or use your generator to use this grill and it is advisable that open the ceiling vents while cooking with it. The instructions are simple and the grill is very easy to use. Simply plug it into the 110 power outlet, let it heat up for a couple of minutes, put the drip pan under the front lip and then cook your steaks or burgers to the desired way you like them. It is not necessary to turn your meat as you would on a normal barbecue as there is a top and bottom on the George Foreman Grill to cook both sides of the meat at the same time. The removable plates make clean-up a snap as they are teflon and clean very easily. The George Foreman Grill is also very compact, so the storage of it takes up very little space in the limited RV cabinet spaces.
