RV Kitchen Product Overview

There are so many infomercails (paid TV advertising) being shown on TV these days one might tend to "zone out" when they come on, but this one caught my eye. I thought this would be great for RVers, so I tried it. I was amazed at how simple the process of cooking pasta, shrimp or vegetables is in my motorhome kitchen using the Pasta Express.

The Problem

Cooking in the motorhome or in any RV presents some unique challenges. Among them are cooking in limited space, limited storage space, using a small cook top, spatter, using large pots and pans and (of course) cleanup with no dishwasher like I have at home.

The Solution

I am always looking for ways to make the job of food preparation easier and more fun on the road. The Pasta Express is the perfect answer to all of the above cooking challenges presented while preparing meals on the road. It's so simple, fast and easy to use and the clean up of that big pasta pot and strainer is a thing of the past. But probably best of all about the Pasta Express is that the food prepared in it is comes out delicious. One thing to remember is that at altitude or when using thick pasta, the cooking time may be extended a bit, but with a little trial and error you will get it perfect in no time.

Operation

The Pasta Express comes with the clear plastic Pasta Express cooking tube, a lid and strainer which is part of the lid, an insulated wrap to pick-up and hold the hot Pasta Express cooking tube when it is cooking with boiling water inside and The Pasta Express Recipe Book.

The operation is so simple and consists of heating water to a boil in your tea kettle then just placing the pasta in the Pasta Express, pouring in the boiling water to cover the pasta, pressing the Secure Strainer in place, attaching on the thermal lid and the pasta cooks right before your eyes in minutes, with no stirring, sticking or burning! Then, remove the lid, and quickly drain the water through the Secure Strainer top! Add a dash of olive oil, a zesty tomato meat sauce, some of your favorite spices, and Pasta Express can help you serve a dinner packed with enough robust flavor to make an Italian Chef proud!

Furthermore, the Pasta Express isn¹t just for pasta! Cook shrimp, hot dogs, beans, ravioli and vegetables such as peas, broccoli, and asparagus, to perfection. Since nothing sticks, clean-up is a breeze! Additionally, the Pasta Express is stored in a small area of your RV limited cabinet space, unlike the big pasta pot and strainer.

Although the Pasta Express can be purchased directly from the manufacturer, the delivery time is advertised as being from 4 to 6 weeks which might be rather inconvenient for those on the road who don't know where they will be.
