Always check with your vehicle's (toad or dinghy) dealer or manufacturer BEFORE towing as it may result in transmission damage and void the vehicle's warranty! Many vehicles that are not approved for towing by the manufacturer can still be towed using aftermarket driveshaft disconnects for rear-wheel-drive vehicles, or free-wheeling hubs for front-wheel-drive vehicles.

The BlackHawk 2 Tow-Bar

Roadmaster's new BlackHawk 2 All Terrain tow-bar has a claimed ten thousand pound carrying capacity. Built with Roadmaster's exclusive All Terrain non-binding technology, the BlackHawk 2 eliminates the struggle to hook and unhook your tow bar. Using ordinary tow bars, the locking mechanism would not release until the bar was "unbound". Unhooking required you to straighten and level the bar to an unbound or relaxed position in relation to the motorhome.

BlackHawk 2 Latching System

Using Roadmaster's new "Freedom Latch", you can unbind the tow bar using only one finger! Unhooking can occur even when the towed vehicle is at a sharp angle in relation to the RV or if your setup is out-of-level. The Freedom Latch allows each All-Terrain tow bar to disconnect effortlessly.

Roadmaster's All-Terrain tow bars are the only true "non-binding" tow bars in the industry. By folding the BlackHawk 2 All Terrain latch toward the motorhome, the storage latch will click signifying that it is automatically locked into place. When you're ready to tow, bring the tow bar up and press the storage latch to release the lock.

All Roadmaster tow bars are powder coated by spraying charged particles of pigment onto the surface and baking at 400 degrees. This process fuses the paint to the metal, resulting is a thick, uniform and durable finish that is three times stronger than solvent-based paints.
