A park model trailer or destination trailer is a variation of the Towable Recreational Vehicle, or TRV market segment that is made for long-term and/or semi-permanent installation in an RV park or mobile home park. Park trailers are designed to be towed behind a commercial truck, or placed on a tractor trailer bed. A park model destination trailer is typically equipped and outfitted with the same level of amenities as a conventional motorhome or double-wide mobil home.
As of 2009, there are approximately twelve members of the Recreational Park Trailer Industry Association (RPTIA).
