Spare Parts - Fuel Lines

Fuel Lines Maintenance

Spare Parts - Fuel Lines

I always carry with me a variety of spare parts. Among the items that I carry are spare fuel lines. For around $80, I feel that it is a good insurance policy. I have personally had one fail and have heard of others who have had the same problem. It might be one of those items that you cannot personally fix, but if you have the parts with you it can save you a lot of time and hassle waiting for parts. This is one of those items that if you have the parts, virtually any diesel mechanic can fix the problem and change a fuel line immediately.

If you are a do-it-yourselfer and are stuck somewhere with a blown fuel line, you probably can replace it as well, as most of the lines are fairly accessible. But as I say, if you don't want to or can't deal with it yourself and if you have the part, most any diesel mechanic can change it.
