|
The newly-minted Carmel-by-the-Sea 'Concours on the Avenue' is one of the first events of car week on the Monterey Peninsula, being held on the Tuesday before the Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance. The event is free for spectators, and features between 120 and 140 American and European classic cars, sports cars and race cars. Proceeds from the entry fee and auctions go to local charities such as the Carmel Foundation which provides a variety of services to Monterey Peninsula seniors.
